Welcome to Kausay. We are happy you are here.

KAUSAY was founded in 2018. We started this project with a vision to live off grid in nature simply and sustainably. Having no idea what exactly this entailed, we have all come here in trust that we would learn everything we needed along the way. In this way, we have been a bit like children playing with sticks, stones and soil. We’ve built and constructed all of the facilities here, much with upcycled and recycled material and we continue to embark on new projects and more learning as we go.

We live in yurts and enjoy a simple way of life, connected with each other and nature. We really love to share our way of living with others and look forward to possibly welcoming you here someday soon.

We live, we laugh, we play, we love

For those that love nature, beauty will be found everywhere.

Nestled in a spacious green valley, KAUSAY’s 38,000m² land has views of endless olive & orange orchards and horses grazing in the pasture. While wild herbs grow throughout the property, hundreds of olive, pine and carob trees are spread out over 15 man-made terraces, backed into a mountain-side we affectionately call Mt. KAUSAY.

The valley offers views and walks in nature as far as one can see. Private, but not isolated, KAUSAY is about a 10 minute drive from the nearest local town and 1 hour from the Valencia international airport, making arriving at the community quite accessible.

The property has an abundance of good clean water and is off the grid, with solar providing all the necessary power.

Our focus is to continue to pour love into this land, making it a shared paradise for ourselves and soul family from around the world.

Mt. KAUSAY

When you plant seeds of love, it is you that blossoms.

As an eco-community, KAUSAY understands that transformation is a holistic process, and encompasses the way one relates with all that exists.  With this in mind, we are continuously becoming more aware of what it means to live in harmony with the Earth and each other.

The principles of permaculture, waste reduction/elimination, soil regeneration, water retention and recycling are continuously being explored, learned and applied in the community.

How permaculture is applied here at Kausay is an ongoing and ever evolving focus, one that will grow with a deeper understanding and awareness of what takes place on this particular piece of land.

As time and experience here grows, part of the vision is to also share what we are learning onsite with others. KAUSAY intends to be a place where interactive learning can take place, inspiring others with an alternative and sustainable way of life.

Happy Harvest!
