In this weekend you will learn about and experience the Wim Hoff Method which consists of cold exposure, breath work and mindset. There will be ice baths, breath sessions and  in-depth explanations on how these practices can benefit your physical and mental health tremendously.

MINDSET

A powerful mindset is an important attribute of a successful person. To achieve your goals, a strong mindset is crucial. During the activities, you will be challenged to strengthen your mind. This journey will offer an opportunity to identify areas for personal growth. Through this unique experience, you will approach life with new powerful energy.

THE COLD

The challenge of cold exposure during the ice baths and waterfall meditation lies in finding peace in the uncomfortable. The first phase is the mental preparation and commitment you make. In the second phase, you enter the cold water, and your body experiences a shock, which is regulated through deep breathing and focus. After 30 seconds to a minute, the shock gives way to calmness and relaxation. Many people experience euphoria due to the release of happiness hormones. The last phase is heating the body mindfully through guided, gentle movements.

BREATHWORK

During a breathwork session, you bring your body into a parasympathetic state, the state in which the task-oriented part of the brain takes a backseat, allowing the emotional part to have more space. The connection with your body and breath deepens, your focus strengthens, and your mind quiets.. This opens up the possibility of gaining new insights and experiencing deep tranquility.

MEDITATION IN NATURES OASIS

Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of Spains waterfalls and engage in waterfall meditation. Let the gentle cascades and the soothing sounds of nature guide you into a state of deep relaxation and inner peace, allowing for profound introspection and rejuvenation.

My name is Tenzin Tserang, and I’m the founder of Intenz Health. I’m a 23-year-old with a passion for health, technology, nutrition, exercise, and biohacking. My goal is to help men improve their physical and mental health by understanding and optimizing the systems in the body.

Combine with Wild Nature Hiking retreat

This retreat can stand on its own, but it can also be a beautiful preparation for the Wild Nature Hiking Retreat starting at Kausay from 17 Till 21 December. A hiking retreat in which breathwork, meditation, silent walking and wild nature playfully work together. The first night we spend at Kausay community where you will sleep in a cosy yurt. The other nights we will sleep in a small tent in nature. Our 3-day hike will bring us to the Rio fraile, a cold river in the most stunning surroundings of the Sierra Enguera. A transformative adventure!

Cost
The costs for the Wim Hof Method retreat are 400,- euro including transport, full program,  healthy meals, accommodation in a share Mongolian Yurt.

How to get here

Pickups will be scheduled from Xativa train station at 1 pm on the day the retreat begins.
If you are driving, please let us know and directions will be provided.

If you are traveling from abroad, you will want to fly into Valencia International airport. We can arrange an airport pick up for you, the additional costs are 120,- euro. It is also possible to travel by public transport; by metro and train you travel to Xativa city, which will take around 2 hours. After registration you will receive clear directions.
Another option is to fly to Alicante and take a train from there to Xativa, please check train times before you book as they go less frequently than the ones from Valencia and take longer.
